What Is Touhou Project
Touhou is a Doujin shooter games that were developed by one man called ZUN, ZUN alone did all the development, music composition, and the graphics. The early Touhou games were released for the PC-98 NEC computer, but the modern ones are available for Microsoft Windows.
While Touhou started as shooter games, where you shoot at targets, all sorts of Touhou merchandises are now available from Music CDs, print media, the games, Manga & even some anime. The music albums are particularly great, which I recommend you to look at if you haven’t before.

Hakurei Reimu
Reimu is the main character of the Touhou Project, along with Marisa Kirisame. She is shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine. And she always exterminates troublesome youkai that causes incidents in Gensokyo.
When it comes to her personality, Reimu is a straightforward, optimistic, and a bit curious girl. But quick to anger if offended. She also likes to help those in need.
Reimu has the ability to float, which also gives her the ability to teleport short distances, she also has the ability to manipulate aura, but not much is known about this ability.

Flandre Scarlet
The Young sister of Remilia scarlet, and the second protagonist of Touhou. She lived in the Scarlet Devil Mansion for 495 years, and is at least that old. Like her sister, Remilia, she has a lot of powers, like superhuman power & the power of oni.
She is nice & quiet person, and her weirdness makes it harder to people to understand her.

Remilia Scarlet
The mistress & owner of Scarlet Devil Mansion. And Flandre Scarlet’s older sister, and the final boss in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.
Remilia is kinda childish, but she is very polite. Because she lived for too long, she tends to be bored. Which makes her values new things. She is also one of the most charismatic persons in Gensokyo.
Remilia is a playable character in Immaterial and Missing Power, Imperishable Night and Scarlet Weather Rhapsody.

Alice Margatroid
Alice is a doll-controlling magician who lives in her home in the Forest of Magic near the home of Marisa Kirisame. She first appeared in the fifth PC-98 Touhou game Mystic Square, where she was the boss of the 3rd stage.
Because Alice was originally a human, she still have some understanding to them. And she tends to give shelter to humans that were lost in the forest. But since Her house if full with dolls and since she isn’t eager to have conversations. Those people tend to flee when there is something eerie about her.
Alice does not like win battles with sheer power but rather with strategy. so she fights with power only enough for her to win.
