Photoshop CC: Visual QuickStart Guide Review In Few Words (Mini Review)
Photoshop CC: Visual QuickStart Guide is a good books that covers the core features of Photoshop CC, with a lot of images to make it easier to follow the steps illustrated in it, and each image has a short text to tell you what you need to do in that step below it. It is one of many good books to learn Photoshop CC, though I can’t see much for the advanced users in it.
This book is a direct competitor to my book Learn Photoshop CC With Pictures, as it tries to teach you Photoshop using picture as a way to make it easier to learn the program. :D

Cons of Photoshop CC: Visual QuickStart Guide
- While the book is called “QuickStart Guide”, it is not exactly that fast to read.
Photoshop CC: Visual QuickStart Guide is more suitable for
- Learning core Photoshop CC features.
In case you want to learn Photoshop cc, and wanted a book that makes it easier to learn the program, then you have found what you are looking for, as that’s what Photoshop CC: Visual QuickStart Guide is trying to do. The book conains many step-by-step instructions, supported by tons of colored images & screenshots. You can quickly read the text below the pictures to finish the tutorials quickly (in case you are already familiar with them), or to read the steps to guide you on what to do and how to do it.
Beside the tutorials, the book contains a good amount of supplemental tips & information in every chapter, which can teach you many things & terms you were not familiar with before, which is a nice add from the authors.
To make sure you benefit from the back, you can download the photos used in the book, and use them to do the lessons yourself, which is very important if you are serious about learning Photoshop CC, and want to benefit from this book
Besides many of the common featured used in Photoshop, this book covers many features that are new or improved features in Photoshop CC, these features has a star besides of it in both the Table Of Contents & the chapters. Something that I never seen in any other Photoshop book so far :D

Among the new CC features covered in this books are:
- Smart Sharpen.
- Adobe Camera Raw as filter.
- Intelligent upscaling.
- Multi-shape and path selection.
- Camera shake reduction.

Besides the hardcover, you also get digital copy
If you got the paperback version of this book, you have the right to download a digital version of it for no additional charge. The digital version is available in EPUB, PDF & MOBI. Which are supported across a wide variety of devices these days.
And Finally
Photoshop CC: Visual QuickStart Guide is one of many Photoshop CC books that makes it easy to learn the program, it is one of the books I recommend to those who are not tech-savvy, and want to learn Photoshop to do generic things. You shouldn’t expect to learn many advanced techniques from this book, as this book is aimed at the beginner & intermediate Photoshop users. If you want to use Photoshop for Photography, this book covers many of the features that will benefit you for that, like Camera Raw, but I personally suggest that you get a dedicated book for that.
