Raishin attends Walpurgis royal\u00a0dolls academy,\u00a0and\u00a0aims to be the top of his class at first. Then it turns out there is a higher goal than that, which is to take revenge on his brother. Along with him, he has Yaya, who said to be the best automatons in the world (at least she says so). :D<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Unbreakable Machine Doll\u00a0is a very enjoyable anime with a likeable\u00a0characters\u00a0&amp; great art. And I guess it is the reason why the anime is called &#8220;Unbreakable Machine Doll&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>The relationship between between Raishin &amp; Yaya adds to the fun of this anime, with Yaya\u2019s obsession with Raishin, and how the things Yaya says kept getting misunderstood is so funny.<\/li>\n<li>A good rematch value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Possibly bad things about\u00a0Unbreakable Machine Doll<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Seeing Raishin past where he faces his brother many times is kind of boring. &gt;.&lt;<\/li>\n<li>While it probably can\u2019t be considered a bad thing, the shortness of Unbreakable Machine Doll\u00a0makes you desire for more. Especially with the high amount of enjoyment\u00a0that came from it.<\/li>\n<li>Not much of character development happen in the anime. The anime was too short for that to happen. Yes, some things change for the characters, but I don\u2019t know if I can call that development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Story<\/h2>\n<div>Machinart\u00a0is the use of a mix of machinery &amp;\u00a0magic to create automatons, or dolls as they are called in the anime. At first, machinart was developed as a military weapon, just like many things in our world like the Internet. But then it became something people all around the world use.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Our protagonist, Raishin Akabane, a Japanese guy attends Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machinart in England,\u00a0with his automaton Yaya. His goal is to be the tops of the academy and become the top of the school. And then to kill his brother who tot ale revenge on him.<\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-292\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sweetmonia.com\/Sweet-Anime-Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Yaya_tries_to_make_Raishin_fall_in_love.png\" alt=\"Yaya_tries_to_make_Raishin_fall_in_love\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sweetmonia.com\/The-Lost-Konpeitos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Yaya_tries_to_make_Raishin_fall_in_love.png 700w, https:\/\/sweetmonia.com\/The-Lost-Konpeitos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Yaya_tries_to_make_Raishin_fall_in_love-600x338.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Every four years, night party between the top 100 students of the academy, the winner of the night party is called Wiseman. Wiseman can do as they please with magic art, and it is a good way to become famous &amp; influential in the world.\u00a0And Raishin sees becoming\u00a0a Wiseman in order to take revenge on his brother.<\/div>\n<h2>The art<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-290\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sweetmonia.com\/Sweet-Anime-Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Unbreakable_01_3.jpg\" alt=\"Unbreakable_01_3\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sweetmonia.com\/The-Lost-Konpeitos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Unbreakable_01_3.jpg 700w, https:\/\/sweetmonia.com\/The-Lost-Konpeitos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Unbreakable_01_3-600x338.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<div>The art of\u00a0Unbreakable Machine Doll is one of its good sides. You will notice from the very beginning how excellent it is, with its great colours, and a good use of computer graphics in\u00a0the fight\u00a0scenes. So the more you care about art in your anime, the more you will be happy to watch this anime.<\/div>\n<h2>Characters<\/h2>\n<div id=\"attachment_286\" style=\"width: 384px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-286\" class=\"wp-image-286 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sweetmonia.com\/Sweet-Anime-Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/pngbase641aa00642b8067530-2-e1438733804796.png\" alt=\"Characters of Unbreakable Machine Doll \/ Machine Girl wa Kizutsukanai\" width=\"374\" height=\"550\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-286\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Characters of Unbreakable Machine Doll \/ Machine Girl wa Kizutsukanai<\/p><\/div>\n<div>The\u00a0characters is another area where\u00a0Unbreakable Machine Doll shines, they are easy to like, and their interactions adds to the enjoyment of watching this anime. If you are one of the people who\u00a0focus much on the characters in the anime you watch, you will definitely like the ones in Unbreakable Machine Doll.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>And as usual, I am not going to cover all the characters of the anime, as it is\u00a0impossible to do that without spoiling too much on you. So I will stick with the ones you will meet at the beginning of the anime, plus Shouko.<\/div>\n<h3>Akabane Raishin<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-281 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sweetmonia.com\/Sweet-Anime-Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Raishin.png\" alt=\"Raishin\" width=\"258\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<div>The main protagonist of Unbreakable Machine Doll. He is a Japanese guy, who came to the academy in order to take revenge on his brother. He is very bad at tests, and scores very badly at the academy test at the beginning of the anime. But has great combating skills.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Raishin wants to be the top of the school\u00a0and win the title of the Wiseman in order to take revenge on his brother, who killed all his family but left him alive.<\/div>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Yaya<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-282 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sweetmonia.com\/Sweet-Anime-Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Yaya.png\" alt=\"Yaya\" width=\"258\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<div>The main female character of the anime, Yaya is the doll that accompanies Raishin to the Mashinart Academy. And she is made by Shoujo, and said to be the best machine doll many times in the anime.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Yaya\u00a0Is kind of Yandere, but in a comedic &amp; funny way. She is so obsessed about Raishin that she always say things that are misunderstood by others.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Yaya has two sister dolls Oroi &amp; Komurasaki<\/div>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Karyuusai Shouko<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-284 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sweetmonia.com\/Sweet-Anime-Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/unbreakable-machine-doll-03-pic-022.jpg\" alt=\"unbreakable-machine-doll-03-pic-022\" width=\"251\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<div>A great &amp; famous puppets maker. She is\u00a0the one who created Yaya, and gave her to Raishin after she saved his life. She is helping Raishin\u00a0for some unknown reason.<\/div>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Belew Charlotte<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-280 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sweetmonia.com\/Sweet-Anime-Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Raishin-CC.png\" alt=\"Raishin-CC\" width=\"258\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<div>A girl from the prestigious Belew British family, and one of the top students in the academy, as she was ranked the 6th in the whole school. Many people in the academy find her quite scary that they\u00a0don\u2019t approach her at all.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Charoltte&#8217;s doll, Sigmund, is a dragon that fires flares that causes a lot of damage.<\/div>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Pacing &amp; Enjoyment<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-291\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sweetmonia.com\/Sweet-Anime-Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/x7xL3dJ.jpg\" alt=\"x7xL3dJ\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sweetmonia.com\/The-Lost-Konpeitos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/x7xL3dJ.jpg 700w, https:\/\/sweetmonia.com\/The-Lost-Konpeitos\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/x7xL3dJ-600x338.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<div>The pacing of Unbreakable Machine Doll is quite good, and it makes 12 episodes to short for the story. The enjoyment is very high, both when it comes to\u00a0the parts where puppeteers are competing to be the top of the schools, and the characters interactions part. For one,\u00a0Yaya\u2019s jokes from time to time, and how people misunderstood Raishin because of them were a nice add to the comedy of the anime. And the repetitive, yet funny, things some characters repeat saying during the anime makes the anime kind of memorable.<\/div>\n<h2>Extra Few Things<\/h2>\n<h3>The opening song<\/h3>\n<div>The opening song of the anime, \u201cAnicca&#8221;,\u00a0is one of the things I quite like about this anime. It is\u00a0great, kind of epic. It shows you the main characters on the first half, with a good rock beats,\u00a0and some fight\u00a0scenes\u00a0at the second one. It goes well with the theme of the anime, and sets the mood quite well.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The opening lyrics makes me think as of Yaya is the one who is singing it.\u00a0Especially The sentence \u201cLet me dream of us making love\u201d. Which could be true.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In short, if I am to make a list of the openings that stood out for me, then Anicca will be one of them.<\/div>\n<h3>The female school uniform<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-278 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sweetmonia.com\/Sweet-Anime-Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Wiki-background-1.jpeg\" alt=\"The female uniform of Walpurgis Royal Academy\" width=\"276\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<div>The female uniform\u00a0of Walpurgis Royal Academy\u00a0is quite elegant and deserve a little paragraph for it. It is quite tight at the waist, with a gap on the chest area that makes the breasts stand out. The blue beret has a blue colour that matches the bow of the uniform. The skirt is flared just the right way, which adds to the elegance of the uniform.<\/div>\n<h2>And finally<\/h2>\n<div>As I kept saying in this review,\u00a0Unbreakable Machine Doll is a very enjoyable anime, with likeable characters, very good opening. And more importantly, with a good story that are not fully covered in the anime.\u00a0Which is why\u00a0it\u00a0is one of the anime I really want to see a second season of, and I truly thought of reading the novel to know what happens next. Considering that the novel &amp; the manga are both still ongoing by the time of writing this review.
