Looking for an affordable graphics tablet? You have found what you are looking for~
Following are a list of the best affordable graphics tablets I reviewed in this site. Organized in a way that helps you choose the most suitable one to you. With a link to the original review below each mini-review.
Huion Inspiroy Q11K
Huion Inspiroy Q11K is a good graphics tablet for the price, especially when we take into account the good active area. It supports a good amount of pressure (though that’s not what you should buy the tablet for). It has no tilt sensitivity, which is a bonus feature it would have been nice to see there.
Having 8 hot keys is a good number to help you speed up your workflow away from the keyboard, though using the keyboard has its own advantages.
In case you got your hand on Huion Inspiroy Q11K, don’t forget about the 8 spare nibs inside the pen holder. :>
Having wireless connectivity is a very nice feature. It’s both nice if you plan to place the tablet on your lap, or in case you plan to carry it around with your laptop. Just bear in mind that it may not work as intended.
I guess driver issues is quite common in graphics tablet these days, so be prepared to deal with them at the beginning. There’s a good chance you will be able to make it run. Also, if all failed, consider mailing Huion customer service, they will try to help you, and possibly send you a new driver version to help you solve your problem (happened to me before).
HUION New 1060 Plus is a good graphics tablet from Huion, with a size good enough to draw comfortably, while I would prefer to use a larger size personally, it’s a still good size to draw on a variety of screen sizes (I tried it on screen sizes between 11-inch to 17-inch).
Add to that the number of hot keys we got, which is among the highest I have seen in a tablet, we get a nice deal. If you’re not one to use such keys, this may not matter to you though.
With the exception of one issue I had with the driver, where the tablet stops working after some times (I talked about it in details below, as well as how to hopefully fixed it), installing & using HUION New 1060 Plus has been a smooth experience for me, and I recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable graphics tablet.
New Intuos 2018
The new Intuos 2018 are a good entry-level graphics tablets for those willing to get into digital art. The small model with no Bluetooth (CTL4100) is particularly good if you want to have an affordable Wacom tablet, its price is a bit close in price to the alternatives (although it’s smaller in size).
While the Intuos are entry-level tablets, I dare say professionals could use them, as long as they don’t need some of the features exclusive to the higher-end Intuos pro, like the large size, tilt sensitivity.
The compact design of the Intuos is nice, the colors are not bad, but it would have been nice if the color Berry was available worldwide. The additional pressure sensitivity is a good addition; though it’s not something I look forward in graphics tablets to be honest.
Whether you like the bundled software is a matter of preference, but Corel Painter Essential 6 is a good painting program if you want something to imitate the way traditional drawing media. Clip Studio Paint Pro is good for drawing, though some artists may not like to color with it. I cannot comment much on Corel Aftershot 3 much, since I don’t have enough experience with it to say.
Since I don’t know a specific name for this new model, I use the name the new Intuos 2018 throughout the review, the same thing I did with the Intuos Pro 2017 (reviewed here).
Huion DWH69 Wireless Graphics Drawing Tablet
Huion H610 Pro
Huion H610 Pro is good medium-sized graphics tablet. It offers a good working space, 8 customizable buttons & 16 hot-cell button on the tablet itself. high pressure sensitivity of 2048, and the pen that comes with it doesn’t need a replacement AAA battery. Its surface is sensitive and responsive. If it is not for the possible driver issues you may encounter if you bought this tablet. I would have given it a very solid rating.
While I am not saying you should avoid this tablet. It is better to get a more decent graphics tablet if you only need want a small tablet like Wacom Intuos Pen and Touch Small & Medium, or if you have the money to buy a more expensive big one.
This is one of the best affordable graphics tablets I ever reviewed. Ugee M1000L offers a great value for its price. Like too many customizable buttons, 2048 level of pressure sensitivity, large active working area, and great customer support. It is the best large affordable graphics tablet you could get your hand on.
The Intuos Comic, Photo, Art & Draw
The new Intuos tablets from Wacom, which come in 4 models, The Intuos Art, Photo, Comic & Draw, are good tablets to for those who want an affordable graphics tablet from a known brand. They offer a good amount of pressure sensitivity, come with a bundled software that suits the purpose for they were made for. They are small enough to be carried around, and on the top of that, they all look very stylish, with the choice of two colours in some of the models.
As long you don’t care about the small size in most of these new models, you are very likely going to like the new Intuos tablets. On the other hand, if you don’t care about brands, or if you want more features for your money, you may want to check out some of the other affordable graphics tablets I reviewed in this article.

Wacom Bamboo Capture Pen and Touch
Wacom Bamboo Capture Pen and Touch offers a great value for its price. Great pressure sensitivity, compact & portable size, and it looks stylish. Works on all the main operating system. And is so affordable. Making it a great choice for a first tablet. And a very good Graphire replacement for some people
Probably the worst thing about this particular tablet is that the pen doesn’t come with an eraser on the back of the pen. Something that was not expected. But that’s fine in case you don’t need that particular feature
While the good old bamboo line (which is now replaced by the Intuos line of tablet) is aimed for non-professionals artists. You will be amazed by the number of professional artists that actually use it. It is not just that not everyone needs the features of the higher end graphics tablets. And the Bamboo line of tablets(and the newer version of it, the Intuos) are great even for those users. This is specially true in case you don’t care about tilt sensitivity of the pen, which is not supported in this tablet. Or if you don’t need a much bigger tablet.

If you just want a tablet to play games like OSU. Or you draw with pencil & paper or mouse and want to try using a graphics tablet to see how it is. The Huion H420 can be a great starting point for you. While many other tablets can provide you with better features. Like tilt sensitivity or higher pressure sensitivity. More express keys and a larger working area. The very cheap price for this tablet will make it very unlikely you will regret getting it. And so far, Huion H420 is the most affordable graphics tablet I have ever seen, along with its sister, Huion 420.
If you are looking for a good looking and affordable graphics tablet. And if you don’t mind having to buy batteries for your pen every once and a while(You could get yourself some rechargeable batteries to solve that problem), this tablet is provides a good value giving the high pressure sensitivity, the good number of customisable buttons, and the great working area.
Wacom Intuos Pen and Touch
The Wacom Intuos Pen and Touch is a great product, it provides a great value for its price. Many people like it, It is good for anyone new to digital art for both photo editing and drawing. And just like the Bamboo line of tablets, I think the Wacom Intuos Pen and Touch can be suitable to many professionals as well.
Because some people weren’t not so happy with it, you should get the tablet from somewhere where you could return it in case you were one of those unlucky few.
Monoprice 8 x 5 Inches
Monoprice 8 x 5 Inches is another affordable graphics tablet with a very good accuracy for its price. Giving what you get for the price, Monoprice 8 x 5 Inches is a very great option for a first graphics tablet, especially if you can’t afford a more expensive graphics tablet from Wacom. Though for Mac OSX users, I would recommend using one from Huion or Ugee as so far, as there is no support for Mac OSX Yosemite for this one.
